Hotel and Guest Policies

Arrival and Departure

• Check-in: 3:00 p.m.

• Check-out: 11:00 a.m.

• Minimum check-in age: 21

Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement but cannot be guaranteed.​

Property Policies

• Wanderlust Caribbean is a smoke-free property.

• Pets are not permitted.

• Children age 12 and older are welcome.​​

Tours and Adventure Activities

All participants must sign a liability release before participating in guided tours or adventure activities. Some activities may also have specific age, health, fitness or safety requirements.​

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. Coverage should include trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, weather-related delays and adventure activities.

Payment and Booking Policies

• All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars.

• We accept Visa and Mastercard.

Individual Reservations

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.

• The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days before the scheduled check-in date.

• Individual reservations made within 30 days of check-in require full payment at the time of booking.

Private Group Reservations

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.

• The remaining 50% balance is due 90 days before the scheduled check-in date.

• Private-group reservations made within 90 days of check-in require full payment at the time of booking.

Additional Payment Terms

• Applicable government taxes and resort fees, totaling 17.5%, are added to the published base price.

• A reservation is not confirmed until the required payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by Wanderlust Caribbean.

​Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Individual Reservations

• 31 or more days before arrival: All payments are fully refundable.

• 30 days or fewer before arrival: Payments are nonrefundable. However, the amount paid may be transferred to one eligible rescheduled stay, subject to the conditions below.

Private Group Reservations

• 91 or more days before arrival: All payments are fully refundable.

• 90 days or fewer before arrival: Payments are nonrefundable. However, the amount paid may be transferred to one eligible rescheduled stay, subject to the conditions below.

Conditions for Rescheduled Vacations

• The replacement vacation must take place within two years of the original arrival date.

• The new reservation is subject to availability.

• The replacement vacation cannot be booked between December 15 and January 7 unless the guest pays any applicable seasonal price difference.

Hurricane Guarantee

If official hurricane or severe-storm conditions result in the closure of Dominica's airport or the cancellation of scheduled flights or ferry service, preventing the guest from traveling to Dominica, the guest may reschedule the vacation.

All eligible amounts paid will be applied to the replacement reservation, subject to the rescheduling conditions above.
